Artistic Themes and Style
Socio-Political Commentary: Shrestha's work often reflects the aftermath of distorted socio-political situations in Nepal, focusing on the emotions and sentiments arising from these circumstances. His paintings depict the transient nature of human existence through molten and twisted forms, symbolizing ephemerality.
Buddhist Influence: He incorporates spiritual themes from Buddhism into his art, using Buddhist elements as healing components. His works often explore concepts such as suffering, enlightenment, and compassion towards others.
Fusion of Traditions: Inspired by traditional Nepali art forms like paubha painting, Shrestha aims to preserve the essence of these traditions while innovatively blending them with contemporary techniques. This creates an exotic fusion that resonates with modern audiences.
