Radhe Shyam Mulmi is a prominent Nepali artist and professor. Born in 1950, he completed his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Graphic Design from the Department of Fine Arts at Punjab University in 1978. Mulmi has had special training in stage technique, lighting, and graphic art. Throughout his career, He served as an Associate Professor in the Fine Art Campus at Tribhuvan University and also as the Assistant Campus Chief there. Currently, he is a Professor and Artist at Sirjana College of Fine Arts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Mulmi is known for his surrealist paintings that explore themes of peace, harmony, and Buddhist philosophy. His work often incorporates objective correlatives of visual images and symbols to convey complex ideas.
