Uma Shankar Shah is a prominent Nepali artist and printmaker, known for his contributions to the field of contemporary art alongside his wife, Dr. Seema Sharma Shah.
Artistic Focus
Printmaking: Specializes in zinc plate etching and experimental printmaking techniques.
Oil Painting: Also creates oil paintings that often depict themes from nature, culture, and religious iconography.

Co-founded Atelier 2, a studio and gallery in Kathmandu, where he works alongside Dr. Seema Sharma Shah.
